korea--
22nd of May
i boarded the plane on the same day my physics results came out. so i missed the yells frm my mom who was busy doing our (i mean, mine.cuz my stuff were like half of everything.) last minute packing. so, PHEW.
23rd May
While my NUS High schmates were having the sch outing, i was in my skinny jeans and green and white striped t-shirt, ready(well, err.not really actually) for a
cross country that my mom and
35-yrs-old coolest aunt had planned.(and my aunt has a
sec1 kid.ouch) can you imagine? a cross country right aft a 7 hours flight and a horrid physics and bio paper. now thats what u call mentally and physically exhausted. i mean, korea's
BIG okay. singapore is just about the size of
an island in korea.
24th May
My aunt drove like a quarter of korea. and now we reached this city called GeongJu(and i didnt even KNEW it existed till then) it has the coolest cave in korea with a golden Buddha in it. it was kindda cold and i pitied that statue which was almost
stripped.My mom was a
teacher in korean language and
history, so she lectured us the whole trip to the mountain.i totally slept 12 hours that day,5 hours in the
car.thats how big korea is.
ok if this goes on,i need a whole day to type em' all.
so i'll skip the 5 days of cross country cuz its much of the cheap hotels, car sick, lectures, and gossips about my cousin's friends (which u dont wanna knw).
like about 30th May
i finally found a spot with
wireless internet! and it was....... a
PETROL STATIONLOL...and it was so coinccidental.
my cousin was in a mood for sexy back (its NOW popular in korea)
so i switched on my comp when the car just reached the pertol station. then msn just popped up :D
And aft the trip, it was just shopping, and shopping and MORE SHOPPING.
theres 3 best shopping spots in korea.
*girls, note em' if u're planning to go to korea.
1.myung dong street.
it is the best shopping place that i've ever been.
it has the whole road, yes the WHOLE, ENTIRE road vehicle-free so that ppl can walk and shop there.its way better than orchard.i mean, orchard is full of chanels and louise vuittons that we cant even afford but this street is just perfect for teens.
its not like big malls arranged in a row like orchard, but its like a small sized shops in a row.in a looooong row.and there's like all the cosmetics shops at the main "gate" followed by boutiques, accesories, shoes, bags and foods. then at the cosmetic shops, they just
throw samples.like you feed the fishes in our eco garden.like you walk pass there, they BEG u to take small bottles of lotions or powders, sun creams and so on.and by the time u see the cloth shops, u have 5 bottles of lotions,a small compact powder and small tubes of lipglosses and tiny shampoo tubes,a packet of makeup sponge...its like,wow... and u usually get to see really cute band of guys or girls having a concert.make sure u watch one of them, cuz its free of charge.(:
2. nam dae mun
its huge,so u make sure u get a tight grip on ur mummy's hand or sth before u do some serious shopping. this place is big,so u can get almost everything here. and one thing good; its generally cheap.REALLY CHEAP. like,15 bucks for a fake gucci high heels..(looks not bad though..)
3. dong dae mun
its just beside nam dae mun. but its more of the teen-stuff there.not as cheap though.its like a place where u get to see nike, adidas, converse and some of those stuff.well, its still fun to find out whats different from singapore's usual adidas.
ok.im so not typing anymore. i'll continue someday :D
gd night everyone.its 1.30 a.m.

- The original nineteenth-century Coca-Cola formula contained semi.

- Twenty-eight percent of Microsoft's employees are semi!
- Semi was invented in China in the eleventh century, but was only used for fireworks, never for weapons!
- In a pinch, the skin from a shark can be used as semi.
- About 100 people choke to death on semi each year!
